Is Bankysh a bank?

No. Bankysh is a financial technology product, not a licensed bank. It does not accept deposits and does not hold a banking licence. Payment and account services are provided through regulated partners.

Is the wallet really free?

Yes. Opening and holding the wallet costs nothing, with no monthly fee and no minimum balance. The card is a paid add-on, and currency exchange carries a margin that is shown before you confirm any conversion.

Availability depends on where you live. We cannot currently serve US citizens or residents, or anyone in a sanctioned or FATF high-risk jurisdiction.
